Imagine being able to pay someone else to do your grocery shopping for you. While it may not seem real for many, for some, it is right in their community already.

Something that is becoming popular lately, are grocery delivery services in a lot of U.S. cities. There is clearly a benefit for local customers in service areas, and some people really need the assistance.

There are many people, such as the elderly, or sick, that would greatly benefit from a local grocery delivery service.

Other people are very simply too busy to go out and do their grocery shopping. Whether it's kids, work or life, people just seem to have better things to do.

Grocery delivery services are being offered in some cities by larger grocery stores, but their schedule may not match up with many of their potential customers.

There are many people that will need their groceries delivered, but delivery times may be a factor for them. So many people just have other things to do, so their delivery times may not match up with a large grocery store.

Customers would have a better chance of receiving their orders though, if a grocery delivery service was available that could offer times that are extended beyond normal store hours.

One great advantage to having somebody shop for, and deliver a customers groceries, is that they could have other items delivered to them as well.

Other deliverable items that would be found in the store would include:

1. Medication/Pharmacy pick-up

2. Lunch?

3. Sundry Items

4. Items from other stores

Each delivery company would have to decide on what they would, and would not deliver to their customers. With so many items available for purchase these days at some stores though, it could be a real benefit to many people.
